The adventure for knowledge never truly ends and often pulls us all to unexpected places. We set off with gear in hand to brave the wilds, understand the world, and build our own story. This dragon has watched over the seas of technology and aspires to work with it. So are you curious about the dragon’s den then, Player?
Thanks for taking the time to read about me. My name is Donovan, or Kiyoi7 if you want to go by my online username with it being in the website and all. For over 20 years, I have been a person playing video games and a fantasy RPG genre fan. I wanted to get into the tech field as a developer or designer in general for a long time already. This website is serving as a record of my flight path. I desire to create and design something impactful for others, and that is my motivation for focusing on game development.
This is certainly a challenging ordeal for someone like me as these are uncharted territories. I’ve jumped into reading a lot of the documentation available for both Unity and Godot game engines. However, there is a heavier focus on Godot. Gaining familiarity and experience will prove to be the stepping stones towards putting some truly exceptional work out there for Players like you. I intend to leave guides or at least offer advice for other hatchling developers choosing the same path and the future generation. That really wraps it up about me.
Whether you have an interest in making your own games, following the story of someone leveling up in this field, or just here to see if there is anything new to interact with, I ask that you keep visiting the Kiyoi Den. The website will be constantly facing updates as more content becomes available.
Check the blog monthly for project updates and occasional advice. Depending on the breakthrough or community opportunity, there is a window for multiple posts during a month. The time between posts will help with juggling all the new things to learn and managing meaningful content to share.
If you need to contact me, please use the email address kiyoi@kiyoiden.com. Looking forward to hearing from you, Players!
